Chinon (Milk Cotton) is a synthetic fiber made by combining “casein,” a protein that makes up about 80% of milk, with “acrylonitrile,” the raw material for acrylic fibers.
Developed as a substitute for silk, it features a silky texture and sheen. This fabric has a moderate thickness with a slight stiffness, making it ideal for blouses, dresses, and other garments.
