Ensyu-Yururi C/LCambric Fabric - Plain
[Product Description]
“Enshu Yururi” is a very soft fabric made in the Enshu region of Shizuoka, one of Japan’s leading cotton textile production areas.
To give the fabric a relaxed texture, the raw fabric is placed in a small kettle and processed by hand so that the fabrics rub gently against each other — a traditional technique used in making Enshu yukata. Enshu yukata fabrics are known for their excellent breathability and their light, soft, and cool feel.
Utilizing these characteristics, this fabric is carefully finished with a gentle texture that does not cling to the skin.
An easy-to-handle cotton-linen cambric fabric.
The weaving threads are relatively uniform, making it easy to sew by hand or machine.
The thickness is suitable for a wide range of applications, from shirts and blouses to pouch and other miscellaneous accessories.
*Due to the characteristics of linen, some people may find it to have neps or a slightly scratchy feeling. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
