Gold Brocade (Kinran) Fabric - Plum Blossom Pattern
[Product Description]
Kinran (gold brocade) has been woven mainly in Nishijin, Kyoto for generations.
It is a type of patterned textile woven with gold and silver threads combined with colored threads as weft, so that the pattern appears raised.
While kinran has traditionally been widely used in Japanese products as purely Japanese-style, it is now used in various scenes such as interior decor, transcending Japanese and Western styles.
Kinran, which is very popular in stores, has a distinctly Kyoto feel and is perfect for souvenirs and gifts.
It would be wonderful to make your own original goshuin-cho (temple stamp book).
Made of polyester material, it is also attractive for being reasonably priced.
*Due to the nature of this fabric, threads may fray easily when cut. Please be aware of this.
*Although this material can be washed, it is a delicate textile, so hand washing or spot cleaning is recommended.
Commercial use OK
