Corduroy is a type of cotton pile fabric woven in a weft-pile velvet style. While it shares the same weaving method as velveteen, its defining feature is its vertical ridges. Known for its excellent heat retention, corduroy is a popular choice for winter clothing.

This fabric features slightly wider ridges, making it suitable for jackets, skirts, and small accessories.
